About this program

The Joan Kroc Center (JKC) was built in 1983 at a cost of 11 million dollars. It is an 110,510 square foot 3 story mission style building with an interior courtyard and underground secured parking. The JKC hosts interim and transitional housing for up to 70 families and transitional housing for 65 single women. Residents who are working to reunify with their children may also access the Reunification Room. JKC amenities include a kitchen and dining room (which doubles as a basketball court or large event space, as needed), on-site laundry facilities, TV lounges, quiet/study room, indoor and outdoor play areas, a multi-media teen space, meeting rooms, staff offices and addiction treatment group meeting rooms.
