About this program

Second Step is a long-term, transitional living facility for battered women and their children from Marin County and throughout the Bay Area. It provides battered women with time to rebuild their lives and get support to obtain resources to achieve economic independence. Services include weekly practical and emotional support groups to help women remain free from abuse and establish independent lives. Family advocates provide crisis intervention and referrals to numerous social, legal, and medical agencies.
I have a used television in good working order. It is small and boxy--it's 33 years old-- but we rarely usedit so it is in great condition. I would love to give it to someone who needs it, rather than throwing it away. Would any of your clients be interested in getting a free television?
