Community Services For The Developmentally Disabled - Individual Residential Alternatives Ira

Kenmore, NY 14217

About this program

Community Services offers a Transitional Residence for people with developmental disabilities who are homeless according to HUD standards. The unique home offers both a supervised, group-style setting and two supervised apartments for people who are seeking more independence. Our team assists residents in gaining skills to avoid the cycle of homelessness. Although a resident has the maximum of a two year stay, the team will work closely with the individual to formulate a person centered plan based on their needs regardless of the length of stay. A safe discharge plan will be designed for long-term stability and success.
