About this program
The Drop-In Center is a 24-hour center for homeless men and women ages 21+. It is the only entry point for shelter for homeless men and women on Staten Island. In addition to shelter, the Center offers basic services such as food, clothing, entitlement advocacy, and extensive on-site case management, mental health counseling, psychiatric care, nursing services, referral for chemical dependency treatment, and placement in a variety of housing settings. An on-site psychiatrist and nurse practitioner help to facilitate early intervention and treatment.
