About this program

Fessenden House provides a home for men who have nowhere else to turn.Our residents are men recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction who are also dealing with other serious problems, such as mental illness, life-threatening medical conditions, and long periods of homelessness or incarceration. Men are referred to Fessenden House from inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation programs in the area. At Fessenden House, they find a sober, disciplined, safe, and loving home dedicated to their recovery.

<p>Fessenden House closed in 2017 when the property, owned by the Archdiocese of New York, was sold to the Charter School for Excellence.</p>
