About this program

More than 34 years and counting, that is how long Chrysalis House has been saving lives. Chrysalis HouseÂ relies on the generous support of the community. Chrysalis House was established in 1978 with six beds on the grounds of Eastern State Hospital. Today, Chrysalis is a comprehensive agency with three residential facilities, a forty-unit apartment complex, eighteen scattered-site apartments, a 18,000 square foot, multi-purposeÂ community center, and two playgrounds. Chrysalis House serves over 200 women and their children annually and is governed by a 30-member board of directors.
